I had a wonderful stay at the Wellsworth Hotel in Southbridge, Massachusetts. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, making it a perfect retreat. Property itself is great just not in a great area, but I knew that when I booked. Special shout out to an employee named Amina. She went above and beyond. Was friendly and helpful. Greeted us with a smile every time we walked through the door. She is definitely an asset to this establishment l.

They need to work on clientele
As we walked to our car on day 2 we observed a couple of young guys rolling a marijuana cigarette which while legal in Massachusetts it looks shady. There was a fight in the room next day 3 of our stay. A kids party in the lounge was distracting during dinner with the balloon animals. On day 4 at the Visions restaurant on site the wait staff was overwhelmed and ignored us after starting to take our order and we finally left after 20 mins after they continued to ignore us. Lots of kids running up and down our second floor room and shady looking characters hanging in hallways. The wallpaper in our bathroom and in one of hallways was peeling.

Solid hotel
Solid hotel with nice staff, room could’ve been a little cleaner but nothing totally crazy. TV could be a little bigger too, but not a big deal. Would definitely stay again.

This is the absolute nicest/affordable hotel I’ve ever been in! Clean, nice, they care about the facility and keep up on it! The pool was nice, and the gym was much better than most hotel gyms. Also a basketball court and racquetball court for whoever is into that. 10/10, I’d definitely stay again!

I grew up in Southbridge and came back to visit family. I do travel quite a bit and I can honestly say this hotel ranks way up on my list for cleanliness, friendliness of staff, parking, and convenience of location. I very highly recommend this hotel.
