Older property but I think they're renovating at the moment (at least 4th floor was under reno at the time). Curtains had black/grey spots (mold?) and bathroom was older (slow flushing toilet) but sheets were clean and area was quiet/safe so met my expectations.

Booked this room because my son was having surgery near by the next day. They put us on the 4th floor where they were remodeling rooms. Didn’t warn us ahead of time or anything. The room entrance floor was dusty with white dust, my son fell and got it on his coat. The room smelled bad of paint fumes. We ended up having to put an air purifier in the room. We all had trouble sleeping because of the smell and got the worst sleep. It’s unacceptable to put people in rooms next to remodels with no proper ventilation, especially with small children. Had I known I never would have booked.

Upon check in no one was at the front desk for an extended period of time. When we were finally greeted the women was extremely grumpy rude and advised us our room needed to be cleaned and to come back closer to 3pm which was totally ok with us. When we came back at 315pm to check in the hotel computers were down and we were rouge checked in. Our room was FILTHY. We had a king suite. The couch was pulled apart and was full of food and gum. The hotel also is under MAJOR construction. Not just a hammer and nail. We immediately went back to the front desk and told the French girl we wanted to stay somewhere else. It was so late in the day we were unable to find a new hotel. Our room was changed and was still filthy. The French girl told us we would be refunded when the hotel system came back up. We were not issued a refund and the hotel denied Expedias refund request twice. I can't post the videos and pictures. DONT STAY HERE

Upon arriving to the hotel, we were told that housekeeping will only clean your room if you notify them the night prior…. Multiple nights we requested to have our room cleaned, only to discover NOTHING was done! Checked in n a Thursday, checked out Monday. Pathetic. The excuse the front desk staff provided was, “we have new staff that are training, sorry.” Save yourself the money and anger, just book at another hotel!

We booked this hotel for a quick overnight trip. The initial check in was pleasant. Upon entering the room I noticed it was not the room I had booked on Expedia. The fireplace was missing, I went back to the lobby and the woman behind the counter told me Expedia had overbooked and the room I had reserved was not available. She offered nothing but an apology as I asked to be moved to a less expensive room with a king bed. She said there was nothing available. I told her I wasn’t happy about paying for an upgrade I didn’t receive. She then offered to “upgrade” us to a jacuzzi suite. I said that was fine and thanked her. Once again we were disappointed with the room. It was located on the 4th floor with the construction. However this room clearly had not had been renovated. The jacuzzi tub had cracked tile, the faucet was only partially attached and it didn’t jacuzzi. Would not recommend. Check out was easy and breakfast was okay. Overall disappointed with this stay.

We were dissapointed that the room we booked was unavailable. We didn’t understand why as there were not that many guests. The property needs repair and updating. It has a very musty smell throughout. Our room had torn carpet, water stained curtains and a very old, stained bathroom. The towels were tiny, and rough. Our room smelled so musty we almost left. Staff was friendly but would never stay here again.

Had to request a new room because the first room was right next to rooms they were renovating. It sounded like they were going to come right thru the wall. When I called the front desk, I was told the work ended at 6:00pm, but started at 8:00 am. Thats a little early when i am on vacation. The key card to my room stopped working on day two of my stay. I had to go to the front desk and get it rekeyed. The bed was comfortable and the location is right in the heart of Gig Harbor.
