This is a no frills hotel, and compared to other APA hotels I have been to, this one was the most run down. I was surprised to find my room so dirty when I checked in. There was dust and grim everywhere and one of the pillows had a what looked to be a blood stain. I didn’t bother with complaining because the staff always looked busy, and the machines placed in front of the desk made it extremely unfriendly to just go up and talk to anyone at reception. And you had to yell over all the machines and displays on top of the check in machines.
The property looked like it was just suffering over tourism. The rooms are quite small and you can’t really open a suitcase in them. There for a lot of the guests were taking to leaving their piles of trash outside. It was a bit sad to see that. The elevators could get quite busy so plan an extra 5 min if staying here.
Overall I really enjoyed the large bath (very clean), and the fact that even though the room was tiny, it had everything needed. (Except for a safe) I do wish they made a way for us to get new towels but not be delivered new yukata everyday. I wanted the towels but not the robes.
I would recommend this chain, but this particular location wasn’t right for me.
Also it was really frustrating to be charged 1000 yen for a new key card. And when i mentioned i found my original & returned it they made such a big fuss about having both copies of the receipt.
Overall for the price I paid per night, it was fine
This is my husband and I first time to Japan we love the location that this hotel gave us because it was near two train stations one below us and one right across the street. Every morning we would wake up with clean towels waiting for us on our door the staff was very helpful And the hotel is very clean
Good on-site facilities as with any other APA. No complaints about the hotel itself. The area has Yamanote line access but not much else. Good if you want a quiet area to return to for the night.
Excellent location and the facility is very clean. However, the room is very small. Well,, someone told me it was the standard size for that price range hotels in Japan. So, don’t be surprised.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
I enjoyed being close to pretty much everything I needed and the ease of access to most parts of the city. The staff was great, and even though the room was small, it's everything I needed for this trip.
Hotel checkin asks for more information than required or needed for use by the hotel. Consider reducing the amount of information asked for to that is required. Otherwise good hotel.
