Very clean room, good AC, breakfast nothing to cheer about but there were options to choose from. We did get charged extra for the second person in the room although when I signed up I indicated that it was for one room and two people.

The place was nice but I didn't like the bed right by the air conditioner and the TV could of been up higher.

Rooms were spacious with sufficient seating, outlets, and writing places. Breakfast was only so-so (not even waffles). Faucet in bathroom sink could only produce a tiny trickle.

The grounds were maintained beautifully. It was quiet. The sink faucet didn't have much water pressure, but the shower did.

A hotel.com room issue
We stayed at the Trade Winds during the Nebraska Star Party, for four nights. The facility and their people were great! The only hitch was with hotels.com. When we booked four nights at this facility, hotels.com booked us in a different room each night! Since the motel was full for the Star Party, the staff was able to move guests who had not yet arrived, which gave us three nights in one room and one night in another. Any guest booking multiple nights, check with the hotel/motel to make sure you are booked in the same room each night.

Looks exactly like the pictures. It’s a quiet, convenient hotel for tubing the river. The microwave/refrigerator combo was very nice. The outside was well kept with a large island of flowers and picnic tables to hang and eat. We had a good time.

We chose this hotel from all options available in Valentine because it was the least expensive, and the reviews were acceptable. The desk clerk at check-in was a cheerful, professional young woman. We checked into our room and realized it was pretty basic, but also pretty clean. However, during our stay we could hear talking, snoring and an unanswered alarm clock from the room next door. The a/c unit cooled well, but was noisy. Breakfast was okay. Bed was comfortable enough, and linens were clean. Good enough place to lay your head, but bring earplugs.

Although the motel is old, it was nice. We were surprised how quiet our night was. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast could be improved with a choice of fruit or an English muffin or bagel instead of the standard white “wonder “ bread.
