I had a disappointing check-in experience at this hotel. The staff member at the front desk was not very friendly and spoke loudly, making our conversation audible to others in the lobby. When I politely mentioned this, she did not adjust her volume and instead stated that she always speaks loudly. Additionally, despite noting on my reservation that I would be paying with cash, the hotel charged my credit card for the room and deposit without consulting me or asking if I wanted to use a different payment method. This lack of consideration and communication was frustrating and detracted from my overall stay. Issue with Bathroom Sink: The sink stopper wasn't functioning correctly, causing the sink to constantly clog. I had to repeatedly stick my hand into the used/dirty water to manually lift the stopper just to get the water to drain.

I travel for work and this is my go to property. They are kind and genuinely concerned about your experience. The rooms are clean and the noise levels are kept to a minimum. I get excellent rest during the day. They offer free breakfast and 24 hour gym access which is a plus. It's location is conveniently right off highway 55. There's a Wawa and many other stores further down the same road. They even wish me well when I'm leaving for work at night. For these reasons, I'm happy with the Wingate property and will continue to book my stays here. My experience here gas always been a good one.

It seemed like they were not doing well so they had to start "saving" lights in eating area or failing and flickering to call out for help. All of that gives a feel to it that says Help not doing well. Everything else was good, there was a person at the front desk that had a tag on saying in training. she seemed like a mom that wanted to go back to work. Jessica, nice efficient seemed like she was happy to be out and working. Great people. Certainly good value. Just presentation is off.
