"Carberry is an excellent choice for a stay near Edinburgh. I wanted the castle experience and this home has so much history, it exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was delicious with wonderful options, and the staff were both friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, everything we needed and larger than I expected for a standard room. Definitely staying again! "

"Had a one night stay here on route to the Highlands. Spotlessly clean and bed very comfy. Choice of cereal/ full Scottish on offer for breakfast. I opted for poached eggs on toast, which was nice. No car park as such, but plenty of on road parking. Wouldn't hesitate to use again."

"The owner of this place is amazing. I had an issue with the car rental company and he offered to help which he didn't have to but was greatly appreciated. The room was immaculate. The bathroom, which is important to me was very clean as well. The city is right around the corner. There's a bus that takes you directly there. The parking is a little tricky but it wasn't anything that was too bad. I really recommend this place to anyone who travels to Edinburgh. It's close enough to the city but not in the hectic part of the city"
