The person responsible for giving the keys was great. This isn’t a review about staff. He accommodated our late arrival which was kind of him. But. The SHEETS. There was hair all over it, crumbs and the bathroom was not cleaned. It was as if the cleaning people just made the bed. The floors were disgusting. We absolutely had no choice but to stay, we only booked for the night. This was a last minute decision, book the night before since we already had our vacation booked elsewhere in WW. Details just so you get why we had no choice.

Pleasant motel with clean and comfortable room. Great location near boardwalk and restaurants. Office staff Madeline was outstanding, helpful, accommodating, and friendly, a big asset for the Surf Comber motel. Budget friendly, recommend!

Staff is amazing! Cute little motel close to the boardwalk! Parking lot was tiny which made it hard to pull in and out but overall great stay and clean! Family friendly!

Very clean and comfortable older motel

Very comfortable and convenient location. Two blocks away from the boardwalk. The staff is very friendly as well. The rooms are older, but very well maintained . We will definitely stay here again.

My main priority is cleanliness. This place is very clean. As stated by other reviewers the parking is extremely tight. Great bagel/coffee shop a short walk away which was a bonus. Complimentary coffee available in the office but they didn’t open until 9.

I had higher hopes for this property based on all the good reviews. The floor was filthy but couldn’t tell until the floor got wet in the bathroom and I wiped them up with a towel that turned grey instantly. We were told that our beds were queens but they were not and told us they measured 60 inches across- I’m 61” tall and it came to my lower calves when laid across the bed. The parking was very tight and we had to park in the emergency parking spot out front the second night. We did not get a chance to swim but the pool looked good. The water was hot for the shower but the stall had peeling paint on the floor. It smelled slightly of chlorine or bleach. The TV uses an old fashioned remote that was dirty. The front desk lady was nice and came to show us how to wiggle the key to get it to work. We will probably not stay here again. However, I was thankful there seemed to be no bugs.

Perfect for a no frills stay. Our room was small but was remodeled (new flooring and fresh paint). The beds were comfy. It had the essentials like a frig and mic. Pool was well kept. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Convenient location; walking distance to boardwalk/beach, mini golf, shops, and plenty of restaurants.

loved it

my boyfriend and i stayed for 5 nights. our room was really nice and clean. the beds are cozy. they have housekeeping come around every morning. the pool was nice and they have a tanning/seating area. everyone was super friendly and we just loved the place. would absolutely stay here again

Loved location to beach and boardwalk. Owners were so nice! Loved meeting their dog in the office! Room was clean, beds comfy. Kitchette tiny, however, only stayed 2 nights, didn't need to cook. Would figure it out if needed. Parking tight, although that's the way with most smaller motels. Would definitely recommend!!
