The rooms were decent but they need upgrades. The bathroom was a little small. The food was too expensive for many kids. I will definitely eat out next time. Dinner was OK. Overall trip was a good grands trip.

Great stay at Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, as always. (We have stayed here many times over the years.) Rooms are nice, and the water park is a blast! Will be returning in the future!

Unethical hidden charges and holds
In addition to being a bit costly through Hotels.com, Great Wolf Lodge charged an undisclosed $39.99 per night resort fee after the fact and also charged a $15 plus tax per day parking fee. Totally unethical. They also put a ~$400 hold on my card when I paid through hotels.com a month prior, again without disclosing.

Plan on hidden charges
I purchased this stay for my family through Hotels.com. I paid for my stay based on the price in the website. When I checked in the clerk informed me of the charge of $15 for parking ( not communicated when I booked) and a $1 credit card approval charge that would drop off after my stay. I asked if there were any other charges and was assured that was all. Don’t trust them! I all of a sudden started getting mysterious charges on my card from the hotel. I checked with the front desk and no one could tell me why I was getting that charge. I requested that the charge be reversed and they said it would. After 2 days it finally dropped off but a new charge showed up. I still have not had this resolved. I won’t return to this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. I will also refrain from booking on this site any longer.
