We enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving! It wasn't overcrowded, the room was great for what we needed, and the water park was fun! One of the slides was shut down which was a bummer, but that's just life. Also, noisy neighbors on our 2nd night, but that only lasted 15 minutes so not worth docking the property over. All in all, it kept us all entertained and the price was unbeatable!

The rooms are very nice. The waterpark is pretty dated and looks dirty. Parking is an absolute pain in the butt. If you're staying in a room you should get first dibs over people just visiting.

This suite was full of flies not the best first impression, went down to reception ask them to move rooms they said they will send housekeeping, which they went and vacuum but couldn’t do anything about the flies. To top it off no one ever went to clean the room the next day and when they went we had a gold ring missing and reported it.

Was very pleased with our room! The indoor water park was great! The outdoor water park not so much. We went in mid Aug and expected all outdoor stuff to be up and running but it wasn’t. It was drizzling for two of the tree days we were there but not enough to keep anyone inside! We will revisit in the near future!

I hadn’t visited the Chula Vista for more than 12 years, and unfortunately since that time it seems the property has not had any updating and looks like a lot of deferred maintenance has caused the property to feel and appear worn down. It’s not the thriving, vibrant place I last remembered. The halls are dated, paint chipping throughout and an unwelcoming, not fresh smell when you walk in. Also, there is no longer an open registration desk in the condo building to check in, and no map to direct you to exactly where the registration is either. So not a welcoming feel at all, and on top of that you’re walking with suitcase and bags a couple of blocks down to now get to the registration spot. The room I had was dated, vents were dirty, dim lighted bathroom, no soap in the shower area, the screen for the sliding door had ripped areas, and the chairs to table had very tattered seats, so much so, I didn’t want to sit in them. I couldn’t trust that the couch was ever cleaned either. I hope the owners read these reviews and put money into updates and staffing or I fear this, used to be gem of resort, will be a thing of the past.
