I didn’t have a stay. I called Best Western Saturday morning and they told me my reservation had been cancelled. She couldn’t tell me the name of the person that cancelled the reservation. I was the person that made the reservation, so It would be nice to know who cancelled it. There was nobody I know who would have cancelled because nobody knew I was going. I left a message for the Manager with all the information and the cancellation number. Never heard back from the manager. I wasn’t about to drive six hours through terrible weather during a holiday weekend not to have a hotel room. My children and grandchildren live in Zachary and Best Western has always been where we stayed. Very dissatisfied and very disappointed!!! The cancellation number the lady at the desk gave me was 57302228723. I booked the room August 10th. I hope somebody didn’t give the room to someone else.

Not the best experience, but not the worst
The staff were awesome. The room was nice and clean. The mattress okay, but i woke up with a back Breakfast looked great, but very salty, Waffles cooked beautifully, the taste was less than desirable. I thought it was just me, but my husband shared the same opinion regarding the food. With ask that being said. The real downer that made my mind up that is not stay here again. There was not hot water in our rm 201. The hallway was busy and people loud, slamming doors. Traffic on a Friday night, remined me off my youthful days cruising with music blaring. Downfall today, you don't hear the music, just the base and it shook my rms window. Let me just say again, the staff were awesome.

The room over all was comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. Property condition overall is okay. The desk in the room was extremely wobbly, the bed and pillows are not corporate bedding and okay at best. The pool area is need of a lot of maintenance, tiles missing, pool bottom plaster in need of repair, tables are damaged and poorly mended, the sunbrellas are damaged and dry rotted

Upon arrival we were greeted with 4 cop cars in the entrance looking for a runaway suspect. The back door by the pool didn’t lock, broken door so anyone could enter. Nothing for sale at front desk if you forget anything. Fridge wasn’t cold.
