When we got up there was no water in the hotel and we were told this had happened 3-4 times before. This may not be the hotel’s problem but they should be prepared and their only response was we called the owner and the maintenance guy will be in around 7am? It was disappointing that there was no backup plan or notification and we had to depart early so we couldn’t shower, shave or even brush our teeth. Also no coffee or breakfast!

Great price

Nice price, clean, great bed, shower. Couldn’t get the heat regulated. Even at 60 it was blowing heat. Bfast was minimal. Biscuits gravy, bagels, cereal, yogurt. 1 brown banana and 2 apples. Noting replenished at 7. Most hotels are cutting back on the food, but the price was right

Probably better in the past.

Really the place is so-so now. Our room showed wear and tear while missing a shower curtain. Breakfast was meh and needed to be restocked when we got down halfway through service. They had run out of bagels and so my son had to choke down plain Cheerios. This is definitely about a 6.5 hotel at best.

Helpfulness

I left my necklace in my room and the staff showed their honesty by turning it into the front desk. The hotel kindly mailed me my necklace (I had to send a pre-paid envelope but that's fine.) Their helpfulness is very appreciated - especially when my necklace arrived at my home!

We have stayed at this property several times; this time we were disappointed. First thing that made us unhappy was that we asked for a wake-up call for 9:15 and it came at 8:15! I did not realize it until I was already up and noticed the time. Luckily it was an hour early and not an hour late. Things didn't seem as well cleaned as our past visits. A towel in the bathroom was SHREDDED on one corner; quite large. I don't have towels like that in my home; I don't expect them in a hotel. So, we were disappointed with this stay. May reconsider a different property the next time we stop in Cambridge.

Value for the buck. Decent smallish room, not outstanding but decent breakfast a step above a continental breakfast. This was our third stay.
