We are Hilton Honors members and always stay at a Hilton if it is an option. Never again for Ardmore, Oklahoma. The girl at the front desk was extremely unprofessional. At check in, we were given our room keys in a card envelope with 224 written on it (by her). We go to the room and the keys do not work. My husband went downstairs to have her activate and she rudely asked why he was trying to go to that room, it wasn't ours. He showed her where she had wrote it on the envelope. She sent us to another room down the hall. We get there and the door is slightly propped open which made us nervous. We pushed it open and entered cautiously. The nightstand had fallen off the wall and there was a utility dolly holding it upright on the floor. He went back downstairs while I waited with our luggage. A maintenance man walked up while I was there and said the room had been taken out of service for repairs and he had no idea why she gave us that one. We were then moved to the 4th floor but she acted like it was an inconvenience to her to handle this situation. I posted a negative google review and today, 2 days later, i received an email from Hilton Corporate saying the hotel should have reached out to me by now to offer some sort of resolution. Unfortunately, we discovered multiple negative reviews through Google that I did not bother to check ahead of time because Travelocity was favorable. Never again. I will check both before booking in the future.
