Love the location of property where everything was within walking distance like restaurants, shopping, riding buses to museums for only a $1 since we do not drive.

I didn't like that the room was sooo tiny. I didn't like the fact that they tried to give us one white facetowel and one brown one and then when asked for another white one, they didn't have any for awhile. Didn't like the annoying woodpecker outside our room. Didn't like the lack thereof of breakfast in the a.m. But the sausage links were pretty good

This property has the best staff I’ve ever interacted with….they make it feel like a Bed & Breakfast. I overheard conversations they had amongst themselves and you can tell that the culture they have created is one of family and you can feel that when you stay on this property. We will most certainly stay again….although we will upgrade to a larger room lol! Small room but worth the sacrifice….this property makes you feel at home.

Aurora is a great boutique hotel in Avalon, on beautiful Catalina Island. I was reminded of hotels in European cities. They provided a very nice continental breakfast and on our Friday night visit a wine and cheese happy hour in the lobby. It was great.
