Don’t Miss the Northern Hotel !
We are on a Road Trip, heading South. I really actually wish we had been able to arrive earlier to this little gem of a stay. It it ended up being very late and very cold ! A really well done Historical decor & theme but with a posh, luxurious feel. You are welcomed in to the lobby by a long, linear fireplace wall with red leather & cowhide chairs. Thoughtful theme driven art that I appreciated. It felt welcoming. The King room was simple but well appointed. Again, tastefully decorated and everything you need. If you arrive in time, they offer a free glass of wine or beer for happy hour. Awesome Idea! But then they offer you bottled water at a $5 per bottle charge. Not a good idea in my opinion. My husband enjoyed a breakfast in Bernie’s Diner. Eggs & Elk Sausage ! On point ! Haha I wish we had arrived early enough to have enjoyed dinner in the other on site restaurant TEN . Looks like it would have been great. Lastly, of great importance to me is the Bed & Bedding! Absolutely On Point . Easily comparable to a Marriott or Hilton. Comfortable & Luxurious. Great Sleep was Had ! ♥️ They also offer complimentary Valet Parking and made checking in very easy! Which can be a challenge for downtown locations.

Always a great stay! Great staff. Very clean and cozy. The rooms are very quiet. The steakhouse at the property is very good. The diner in the hotel was the only downside. Portions were enormous but the taste of all our breakfast was not great. Bland and unseasoned. The pricing at the diner is to high for what you received. I suggest finding breakfast elsewhere.

XMAS Getaway
Hotel was very nice, parking was easy. We had a suite which was very small but nice. Bathroom was small - vanity was taken up by the bowl sink which left very little room on the counter top. Bar area very nice - drinks were reasonable priced. Did not eat in the TEN restaurant but had a good breakfast in the morning at the Diner.

The Christmas decorations are beautiful and the gingerbread house contest is a cute idea. Rob and Logan are exceptionally nice people. Andrew in the lounge mixes a wonderful old fashioned and is a fun host. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

From the door attendant to the front desk...the house keeping and dining staff...ALL were awesome...the room is clean and comfortable..the area is close to shopping and walkable.

Nice place, old building so it’s not sound proof street noise is very noticeable and if you end up next to a drunk moron you’re going to hear them from four rooms away. Bernie’s was pretty good, didn’t try the ten couldn’t bring myself to pay the prices.
