Not impressed.
The room was not very good. I did stay with my dog (she is medium sized and weighs under #30. Doesn't bark, potty trained & very well mannered) and so I believe the room I was given was probably the "dog room." I can understand the reasoning but even my dog was not happy either. The carpet for sure was disgusting. Also, it took forever to get so-so hot water.

I don’t know who did other reviews. May they were put in other rooms. Room was disgusting. The floor was covered in oil and grease cobwebs trash in the room. I actually went back to the front desk and turned in my keys. I didn’t stay the night that bad.

The staff were very nice. However, the heater was very unsafe. We smelt gas very strongly most of the day. We had to light the pilot light on the heater multiple times even through the night. The heater was very very old and not in suitable condition for this type of environment. Beds were comfortable and clean linen was very clean. Facility overall fairly older, but it was convenient for our stay.

Room are pretty bad but restaurant is pretty good
The only good thing to say about the room is it had a decent tv with good selection of channels. Other than that the place is really old and lacking. Floor is so squeaky that you wonder if you will fall through.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. The pet area was adequate. The heater was very noisy when it shut off and the noise from the cars and people during the nice kept waking us up. The restraunt in the parking lot was convenient the food was decent but the staff wasn't very helpful and one waitress was very rude. We won't stay there again.

The village inn was in a small town but was very clean and nice. However I would never use Expedia to book again I would call the Village Inn direct. We booked 2 nights with Expedia but they only booked one night with the Villiage Inn. As the Inn was full we had to find another place in a different town.
