Staff was kind and polite. Room smelt like smoke even though it was a smoking free room. One of the queen beds had crumbs in the bed per our 11 year old. Not sure if they were from her or already there. Breakfast was simple and had options.

We enjoyed the swimming pool. It was wonderful for our 9 year old daughter. Breakfast buffet had lots of options which was nice. The room on the other hand was dusty in certain places with the bathtub being the worst. It had leftover hair in the tub and felt dirty. Staff was friendly. Cleanliness is high on our list and made this stay less pleasant.

They gave me a room that was already occupied; I walked in on other guests in their room. The floor in the room and bathroom didn’t seem super clean. I had three bottles of conditioner but no shampoo; the person at the front desk looked for some but couldn’t find any; she could have offered to speak to housekeeping and solve the problem, but she didn’t, so I had to do that. And the property is really close to the train tracks, so it was hard to sleep. Breakfast room was clean, breakfast was fine with normal options for continental breakfast. Pool was nice and clean.

Booked on expedia then got a text from Days Inn offering pre check in. We had just come back from an international trip and had been awake for 24 hours due to our circadian rhythms being messed up. The pre check requested i upload a pic of my drivers license and sign, among the usual requested info. My husband was driving so it seemed a good idea because we were sooo tired.when we got there, we had to wait quite a while for the person on duty to book reservations for a customer on the phone. Then when it was our turn, she asked for my driver license. I told her she already had it tbrough pre check in. She argued with me and said that was expedia, which it wasn't. Then she asked me to sign a check in doc and I told her I had already done that. She obviously didn't know anything about precheck.the next morning the person on duty said they weren't set up for pre check in. Unbelievable! Also the carpet was filthy. I felt like i need flip flops on to walk around my room. Also the room was extremely outdated and a handicapped accessible room with a super weird shower with benches that took up the shower. We skipped the shower and just got out of there.Horrible!!!
