The staff were friendly, kind and made things easy. Polly who was in charge of the breakfast area keep things well stocked and very clean. The front staff and in particular Sherry or Shari was so pleasant to chat with. We loved our stay there and will come back. Dawn and Nancy

Staff very friendly , breakfast good, they are doing renovations, so a little noisy, strip between rug and hardwood had duct tape on it and I of the towel holders in bathroom was broken. But I know they are redoing all the rooms. ,so assume it’s on the list to be fixed . I would stay there again, very convenient to everything we were going to.

Very disappointed.

I booked a 2 night stay at this location. My first night the AC unit wasnt working properly and air stayed around 75. During this same night, the power went out for several hours. I went down and chatted with the overnight front desk personnel. We talked about my air in my room prior to the power outage and then again when i was down for breakfast. Come 10am, nobody had been to my room from maintenance. I peaked my head out the door and a room cleaner said she would call for someone... they never came.. i called down to the desk and then some one came. Im talking 4-5 hours waiting for someone to come look at it. Gentleman finally showed up and sprayed something in the unit. Said it would cool down in a couple of hours. The hallways were cooler than our room was. Meanwhile they had some working being done on my floor. In one of my outings, coming out of the elevator, i tripped over a box cutter the workers left in the middle of hallway. Blessings i had closed toed shoes on because that box cutter was not closed all the way... This trip was horrendous and quite frankly the first nights stayed should be reimbursed. Very disappointed by this stay.

This hotel is overpriced for what you get. My bedspread was stained. There was duct tape on the floor covering the edge where the carpet and tile met. They were doing construction on our floor and it was very noisy and dusty. However, the man at the front desk was very nice when we checked in. And I like that tea and coffee were always available.

Stayed at this hotel during manatee season and I feel it's a little overpriced but there's really not much else for this value with breakfast in the area. The hotel staff was pleasant. This hotel is a non smoking hotel, but my room did smell like cigarettes and I did let management know, they were apologetic. Super convienient if you're coming for the night to swim with manatees. They do have good coffee and ny room was ready early for check in so those are a plus.
