"Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean. Pool area looked clean (did not go in). The front desk at check in and check out was extremely friendly and courteous. Plenty of eating establishments around. There is a walking/running path with a couple of ponds out back. The hotel is only a couple of miles from Dulles. Our room was on the back side of the hotel and arriving planes were coming in right outside our window. Pretty cool! Plenty of parking also."

"We were immediately greeted with a warm welcome. I’m mad I didn’t catch the young man’s name but he made sure to ask us if we were here for a special occasion. When we said it was just a date night, he said that deserves to be celebrated and instantly upgraded our room!! Check in lasted maybe all of 4 minutes and we were in our way. That is how you do a check in! The room was spacious and clean. There was some rust around the baseboard in the bathroom, very noticeable, but that was the only negative I really had. Overall, an amazing staff and stay!"

"I’m here to catch a flight in the morning, this location is handy to Dulles. There is a restaurant kind of thing off the lobby, not a big menu but the burger was good. Plenty of parking. I would stay here again! Room is very comfortable! "

"Overall, I LOVED the property, the friendliness of the staff, amenities (gym, dining options, fire pits, etc.) With that being said, I did noticed the shower door in our room was not cleaned properly and neither was the countertop in the bathroom. I also noticed water leaking around the base of the sink faucets. I only bring this up because at the prices you pay to stay at the Salamander, I expect everything to be exceptional. ALL in ALL those were minor, seeing that my germophobic ways will not allow me to travel without taking or purchasing cleaning products locally. So I was able to clean the shower door and counter myself, which I would have done even if I didn't notice they had not been cleaned properly. I would definitely go back."
