"I liked that it had parking ,it was walkable to the waterfront,downtown shops ,museums etc.the food in the hotel was very good and reasonable prices and quick room service.i dont have any complaints.i was very satisfied with my stay."

"We checked in to this historic hotel close to downtown Halifax to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This hotel is an early 20th century landmark, not overly ornate, but classic and tasteful. The room was quiet and comfortable, with high quality beds and linens. When the front staff heard that we were celebrating our anniversary, they left us a lovely gift of a bottle of champagne and a box of chocolates with a note from the hotel team. This was unexpected and appreciated. All in all, we loved our stay."
