This property seems very run-down. Our room had a 2nd bedroom, this room did not get any heat, the deadbolt of the door to the outside did not lock, and the king bed was caving towards the middle and slanted downward. The fan in the bathroom didn't work, the rug in the whole room had not been vacuumed, and there was someone else's stuff left in the both the fridge and freezer. I was so disappointed in this place because it was so close and convenient to Holiday Valley, but I will never stay at this hotel again.

Going downhill. Staff not welcoming. Room dirty. Sidewalks not shoveled. Door would not shut. As loud as a fraternity house at 2am. Smelled like smoke. Not enough parking. The location is great, but that’s about it.

First, we liked the proximity to Everything. Walkable to downtown. That’s where the positives end. It had stopped snowing 2 hours prior to Our check in but nothing was shoveled or salted. It was even worse in the morning after freezing rain and rain. No sidewalks cleaned or salted. The room was sufficient for one night if you are only sleeping there. If you are skiing and staying for a few days, there is no place to put your gear. Walk into the room and there is nowhere to put boots or shoes. No closet, no desk, not even a box of Kleenex in the room. The shower was an adventure trying to get hot water. It was either scalding or cold. After 10 minutes we settled on like warm for both our showers. I’m sure years ago this property was wonderful, but over the years and maybe through ownership changes the place has lost its luster. Seems like money is the driving force, not upkeep. Unless you are desperate, stay elsewhere. Your money will be better spent at one the other beautiful B&B’s in this great little village.

OK place for a ski trip to Holiday Valley

Stayed there multiple times to ski Holiday Valley. Rooms are clean and the place is quiet but the water pressure in the shower is not great and the mattresses have seen better days. As for the free continental breakfast, it's on the light side (bagels, muffins, cereal, that's it) so expect to have to refuel on the slopes by lunchtime. Still, if you just need a place to crash on a ski trip at a reasonable price, you found it.

I was told the Main Hotel wasn’t ready? It wasnt even open? We were put in a Room across from the hotel. Never before has that happened. The room was less than 60 square feet!!! No bath tub. Then linen’s on the bed i thought were Cleaned?? Then i pulled back the sheets??? Saw the BED BUGS!!! I was so Mad!! I sprayed LYSOL.. I took a picture of it. That facility needs to be Completed torn down.. I won’t be back. I have bites on my legs?? How can Expedia endorse this kind of Hotel?? The Owner? Management?? Knew they didn’t tell me the Main Hotel was closed?? Our last stay was nothing like this? No BED BUGS!!& a bathtub, a regular Room. I’ve never seen a hotel that was this bad. NEVER!! Like I said!!! Never AGAIN!! I have a feeling?? It’s going to be CONDEMNED!

The bedding was not properly washed as they smelled like literal crap. Others had complained about the cleanliness of their rooms as well. I did not see any maids, only the 2 guys working the front desk and a few bottles of spray to clean with.

Plan for Traffic

Be careful when you book. The time window for check in is precise. We got in traffic and were delayed about an hour from our planned arrival. When I called to let the lodge know, they said if I didn't get there in the check-in window then I would not have a room. Was traveling over 5 hours. By the grace of God and some speeding we just made it. We were then greeted with the fact that we were the last guest to arrive. The location is perfect for those skiing at Holiday Valley, which we were, the room we stayed in was mediocre (lots of potential, they just haven't updated anything). The heater was very loud, but worked well. There was not enough parking, since we were the last to arrive, we parked on the street. If you book, just give yourself lots of time to arrive when they want you too. For what we stayed in, price was also a little high for the accommodations and definitely for the lack of customer service we received.

Good vale and convenient.

Good value for the money. Close to downtown, walking distance. Heater unit very noisy, had to turn off to sleep, was told all were like that (bs) shower control handle snapped off in hand had to reattach.
