There was a storm brewing from California-Oregon-Washington. It brought winds of over 50 miles per hour in some areas, as well ocean surges and high waves. The power flickered a bit but remained in tact throughout the hotel. I watched other larger complexes lose power. Blessed to feel safe as well as accommodated with Courtyard Marriott

It was quite busy and full due to the recent power outages in the area. But the staff was doing an amazing job accommodating the situation.

It was a reasonable room, but the bed clothes were thin, and there were no extra blankets in the room, and there was a cold air leak. Most importantly, you advertise a free breakfast, my confirmation said the same and when I checked in, I was told that I was eligible for the breakfast. The following morning, I was informed that I was not on the list for free breakfast. And that was that. No apology given. And after that, I left and was certainly not going to line your pockets by buying your breakfast. No other hotel I have stayed in has refused any guest a breakfast. I will avoid your hotels.

Everything was great except the check-in. Took us 45 minutes waiting in line. The one check-in clerk was friendly, courteous and apologetic but still the wait was unpleasant and unacceptable.
