A very lovely inn, I’ve stayed at national chains many times but this was perfect. The details like the vanity mirror and the 4 post bed made for a great experience.

We had lots of noise above us which made it difficult to sleep. Hotel is a bit dated and could use some paint and upgrade. It was ok. Staff was pleasant and continental breakfast was sufficient. We were billed again after paying in advance. Second charge still shows pending.

The room was barely furnished, what furniture was in the room was worn and haggered. The bed was awful, hard and comforter was “short”. The lamps hadn’t been dusted in a long time. The rest of the room was surface clean. There was a wall mirror but covered up by the TV-tacky! The room was 150 dollars and not worth it at ALL! The soundproofing was nonexistent, we had to call the front desk because of the loud noises from the room above us.

We've stayed at The Farmington Inn once or twice a year for more than a decade when visiting family nearby. The location is nice, parking is easy, nights are quiet, and the neighborhood is walkable. It was wonderful for many years, but this time, our room was in great need of some paint, stain removal, air freshening, and towel rack fixes. For this stay, check-in was quick and pleasant, but the next morning one staff member was handling both breakfast and the front desk, which was surprising and seemed stressful. I truly hope things improve (or that the condition of our room was a fluke) because we have such good memories from past stays.

Rooms need attention.

We have been staying at this Inn for over 10 years at Christmas. It has been declining each year, so this past stay will probably our last time. There are too many problems that need attention to mention in this review all having to do with the condition of the room, a suite, room #247.

This was my second time staying at the Farmington Inn. It’s a nice, well-maintained hotel to begin with but they do it up extra nice for Christmas. I LOVED the touch of free charcuterie and wine in the lobby and the comfortable sitting area with art books to browse. Every staff member I interact with is kind, professional, and eager to please. The complimentary breakfast is very good, and the cafe is charming. Fitness center is kept very clean and equipment is brand new. The surrounding area is very safe and walkable with a couple good coffee and dining options. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
