Perfect romantic get away

Went here for a get away with my husband and it was everything we needed. From the valet, to the check in staff to the spa, everyone staff member was friendly and went out of their way for us.

The resort is gorgeous and comfortable. The staff are wonderful, except for the person who checked us in. Jody put us in the wrong room and then made a snarky comment about my husband's shirt. Regan, Daniel, and Steve are marvelous and made the whole stay delightful. Thank you!

Champagne at check-in was just the beginning of a weekend treated well. Enjoyed the sky bar at the hotel and restaurants down the hill. Only negative was fireplace in our king suite did not work.

Elegant and beautiful!

Very pleased from the moment we arrived with a glass of champagne being offered while we waited just a few minutes to check in. Valet parking was wonderful! The room was spacious, clean and very beautiful and comfortable, and the added benefit of cookies and mints on our pillow was wonderful! The food was AMAZING! Be sure to try the french toast! We will recommend to all our friends when visiting Helen, Georgia.

Valhalla resort made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped on to the property. Everyone was polite and helpful. The hotel is beautiful. We wanted for nothing, everything was already provided or offered to us.

The staff was wonderful, the room was clean & comfortable. Would really like to see the decor embrace the name, I love history and the items chosen to decorate are just not in line. They are medieval generic and not Norse as the name would suggest.

Very disappointed!

Disappointed in the room. It was no more nicer than much lower price hotels. I was very shocked at the 100.00 fee charged for my 4lb service dog. He is fully trained and stayed in his kennel the whole time. We were charged for drinks from the bar that we did not get. Very pretty but not worth the price.

Our stay was lovely. The staff was extremely courteous and warm. The room was clean, spacious, and set the tone for a nice quiet getaway from the daily hustle and bustle of everyday life. Hiking trail was great for the dog, the grounds were beautiful and the staff were all amazing. We even got to meet the owners and he met our dog. Will always stay here when I come to Helen in the future
