Very quiet, clean and safe. Only downside is free breakfast is not very good. Dry cereal, mil, juices, pastries. Pastries were dry, waffle you make yourself meh, didn’t like the coffee. Scrambled eggs from a mix and dry sausage. Great for kids who just need cereal and milk. Go get breakfast at Get the Hell Out or drive north and go to Henry’s. Daryll’s in Manyro is good for breakfast if it is open. We were there during off season after Christmas. Dare Devils Pizza is close by, Red Drum Tap House has delicious fish and chips, Barefoot Bernie’s for watching sports and bar food that is actually good with delish varieties of cuisine and even a healthy menu. Blue Moon Grill is fancier and has a longer wait. Limited menu due to chef specialties but good. Salads are huge and can make a meal out of those. Dominos delivers to this hotel. Good if you don’t want to go out. Husband loves the heated indoor pool. We stayed in the back with ocean front room which had a beautiful balcony and nice view from 4th floor. Noisy refrigerator that needs to be replaced is my only complaint about the room. We had a delux room with a sitting area and couch. We loved a tv in the bedroom and large tv in sitting area. Awesome shower. Highly recommend this hotel.

My young sons and I stayed four nights. The Staff - in particular Stephanie at the desk and the young lady serving breakfast by the name of Kathy - made our stay memorable and special. Both were very helpful suggesting places to see, what not to miss and places to dine. They added to our stay immensley with their expertise and knowledge. Add in the heated pool, the clean and well appointed room, the beach access directly behind the hotel. If ever we return we will happily stay again at Shutters on the Banks.
