"The hotel was clean. The room was spacious and the bed linen was top quality. The bathroom was clean and the shower was powerful. A small packet of biscuits with the tea/coffee would have been appreciated. The staff members were delightful and courteous but the checking in process was a little slow and the additional staff member might have been available a bit sooner. I would definitely recommend this hotel and may well stay here again."

"The Standard is a very nice hotel with very attentive staff in a nice convenient part of London, essentially across the street from St Pancras Station! The hotel and the rooms themselves have a very modern/retro vibe. Nice lobby area with very comfortable seating and a fireplace! "
