This "inn" is merely a revamped 50's motel with paper thin walls and poor maintenance. There is superficial freshening with nice toiletries and white paint and the bed was comfortable, but it did not make up for lack of sleep because our neighbor talked and had sex throughout the night and we could hear every word! The shower did not function at all...so the morning was another insult! I would suggest not staying at the Kittery Inn and Suites.

My husband and I had a great stay at this cozy motel. A roomy unit with plenty of space...living area with a modern kitchen, a quaint bedroom, and an updated bath. Very friendly and helpful staff! Yummy breakfast served in a pleasant atmosphere.

Stayed in an end unit and it was spacious but kind of beat up around the edges: chipped paint on the floor trim and door, rust on bathroom heater, bathroom tiles misaligned. Didn't have all the toiletries in my room upon check in and the furniture is hard wood with slim padding so a bit uncomfortable after a while. Bed was decent and the room was clean. Quiet and safe area. Office was closed at 8 despite the card saying 9 and only an "emergency" number listed for after hours. Overall not bad for the money.

I loved the staff and clean unit. Some things were a worn, but I want to say the staff made sure I was comfortable and the unit was nice and warm. The Continental breakfast was awesome. I will stay again when in the area.
