FIrst, the hotel was just going through change of ownership and the new name of the hotel wasn't displayed it was still Best Western. The hotel room was clean but you can tell the hotel was an older hotel and theyve just started renovations. The parking wasnt great because alot of trucks took over 2 and 3 parking spots, leaving less parking for others.

We reserved and paid for a king suite. However, when we arrived to the room, the smoke alarm was beeping. We called the front desk who told us to just take the alarm down and disarm it because there was no one to fix it that night. When I explained that we could not reach the alarm on the ceiling, and that simply disarming a smoke alarm was not safe, the clerk indicated that was what she was told to say. When we continued to press for a solution, we were offered a smaller room with Queen size beds, at the same price as the King Suite. When we pushed back, the clerk called "upper management" and called back with a $20 discount. We were told that was the last solution. Because she was alone, we had to go back down stairs for the new keys. I asked for a blanket and extra towels, and was told there were no blankets. I did get the extra towels. It is incredibly unsafe to tell paying guests to remove the smoke alarm and disarm because there was no one to fix it, and then to leave one female clerk alone without any other support seems unwise, especially with the amount of homeless around the property.

Nice location and great staff!
I was only here for one night. This being a very quick business trip. But, like all the Wyndam Hotel’s I’ve stayed at, this one was a step above the competition. Very friendly staff too!
