Room was okay and bed was comfortable. No “hot” water but warm. Very noisy between rooms. It appears efforts are being made to update the rooms but definitely have a ways to go.

the rooms have been redone, new carpet etc...the casino is still the old Pioneer, but we are OK with that...reminds you of OLD Las Vegas...LOL...all in all you get what you pay for

There so nice at the Pioneer ..My Husband was in a Car accident the night before we were to check-in and the Pioneer changed or stay date without any hassle and or extra fees... I'm very thankful.

This place is old and tired. We had a cockroach walking around our bathroom durning the night. The staff is very nice and the rooms were as clean as you can make an old space like this.

besides the great slot selection available, the friendliness of the staff is the aspect that most stands out amongst the crowd and is better than all the rest. they really make you feel welcome, at-home in this cool place to stay and play and eat well. New pioneer hotel has a new system that needs to be completely scraped as it is completely flawed and against all industry standard IT systems. I was charged a posted payment to my credit card for a damage deposit when I cause no damage. Instead of like every other hotel, where the charge remains pending, this charge posted as a final charge. I then had to dispute it with my credit card company and waste my time all for a flawed system where this hotel failed to do proper IT system checks that are widely standard in the industry. I was told by the front desk lady that this amount would be refunded. That is yet to be seen and I will fully back and support my credit card company to dispute this charge and hopefully get this company to get their act together. The room was very basic no fridge, no microwave but otherwise fine as far as that goes. Otherwise I had no issue with the room itself.

I have stayed twice in 3 months at the Pioneer. The rooms are bare bones, clean and easy to get to. I don’t spend time in the room and serves me well for the price. Don’t need frills just a clean bed!
