First time to the Bahamas. We were wanting something beautiful and away from the Spring break and cruise ship scene. Sandyport Resort hit the mark on all of our requirements for our family vacation. The location and property were just beautiful. Loved the quiet charm of the resort. Customer service was top notch.

We had a beachfront / lagoon front room with kitchen and lounge area. The rooms are a bit dated and tired but everything functions perfectly. They have new appliances in the kitchen and living area. The view out of the room over the beach and lagoon area is stunning and we very much enjoyed being sat on our terrace with a cocktail for sunset. Resort staff couldnt be more helpful and would make arrangements for taxis / excursions etc. There are multiple dining options within a short walk of the resort and a supermarket. We much preferred this area to the hustle and bustle of other more popular areas as it felt like a bit of a sanctuary. We also saw a manitee, sea turtle and multiple Eagle rays swimming in the lagoons outside of the cordoned off swimming area!

King sure with a lagoon view was great. It was exactly what we were looking for. Not like the over crowded paradise island hotels. Only complaints:the hammock outside our room was broken, the housekeepers were loud, and one of the toilets clogged. Other than those, it was perfect

The Sandyport is a perfect spot for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation but close to a lot of things. The staff are amazing, shout out to Karaoke guys (I won’t attempt to spell their names). We stayed in a suite which was very comfortable for our family of four.

This is overpriced for a “resort”. The beach and pool were nice but the room is tiny and out dated. We still had a good time

Stay away from this pig stay! We had to leave next day, such disappointment! Everything is falling apart and obsolete, rooms are very small and mold smelly. Bathtub was broken, couldn’t take shower 2 days, fridge was broken and leaking, personnel doesn’t care to fix or give new room! Room furniture is very inconvenient, no way to seat at the table, the chair is too high, table is too law! Restorant at the hotel is bad, food is low quality and very overpriced! The most important there is not a ocean beach at the hotel where you can safely relax or swim, there is only access to dirty channel where neighbor owners keep their boats and maintain them. Good luck to swim in the engine oil instead clear blue water! Pools are obsolete. Construction is in the progress at the hotel territory, do enjoy constant noise and paint smell! Everything is just very BAD!!!!! This hotel has to be demolished and completely rebuilt, instead of this owners continued to mislead and ripping off the travelers! The surrounding territory is boring, there are not decent restaurants or cafes! The food there is bad and poorly prepared!

A great place to stay away from the madness of downtown Nassau when all the cruise ships are in. 7 restaurants/bars all within easy walking distance, lovely pool area, very helpful staff. We hired a car and it was in an ideal location to explore the island from.

The property was lovely...staff were friendly and helpful, especially Lady Sarah! Great easily walkable dining options. Spritz offered excellent food with water (and sea turtle ) views. Bon Vivant was exceptional for breakfast and cocktails. The Sailfish breakfast sandwich was amazing. Quiet beach, water everywhere, an excellent experience!
