We reached the lobby at 3:45 a.m. for the 4:00 a.m. shuttle to the airport. The 4:00 had already left. The next one wasn’t going to leave until 4:30. Just the beginning of our sh*t show. We called an Uber. Thanks, Doubletree. You seem to cater to airline personnel. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Red stains on the carpet, AC not working, staff was extremely unprofessional and unresponsive. I don’t like to leave these kind of reviews but it was one of the worst hotel experience my family and I have had. Im sorry but I will never book at this hotel again.

I called to see if they can check me in early they said call back later to check. Figured theres none so i actaully didnt come property until almost 6. My room wasnt ready. The girl at front desk was veey helpful but room service was so behind. They were offering a doom that was city view instead of NY view. Although she they try comping my parking they gave me room key to a room that still had people. I ended up walkingto a room with a couple in the middle of their business. Overall horiible experinece.

The woman at the front desk was nice when we checked in. Said “you prob don’t want the 1st floor?” Why, what’s wrong with 1st floor? “Oh it’s by the pool and a lot of screaming kids” yeah please don’t put us by the pool. I really need a good night’s sleep. So she put us on the 3rd (318) with a balcony overlooking the pool and a small banquet area. The bed is like sleeping on a layer of bricks hidden under a nice pillow top. The pillows were like a small fluffy sheet of cardboard. The walls must be thin because it’s very loud when people are walking down the hall or downstairs in the lobby/dining area. The rooms are really big, but the bathrooms were small. Everything is pretty dated if you look close enough but it seemed nice and clean. The bar/restaurant. We sat down at the bar and the gentleman put napkins down but before we say our drink order he walked away. To do what? Dishes, cash out a couple, throw trash away, bring food to another couple and then he made his way back to us. When our friends joined us we got a table to ordered food. The wings were good. I’m not sure why the waiter (who was great) asked how I wanted my steak because it was more than well done instead of medium. The asparagus and potatoes were meh. And the Demi glaze was a little born of A1. But he almost tried on his presentation, assuming the cook is a man, could be a woman. The prices were expensive but we are in NJ/NY. Breakfast buffet: $24 and not worth $5. Same buffet you’d see at a Motel 6.

I had to wait almost a hour and half to get checked in because the receptionist did not want to help us and I was very tired and only slept maybe 6 hours because the lady made me wait at the counter because she could not find the reservation I called Expedia and Expedia hung up the phone on my face as well over all horrible experience on both sides.

Room was clean and comfortable. No shuttle to cruise terminal so you have to Uber. Was pretty noisy having a room near the pool. Dinner was delicious. Parking was limited.
