I stumbled upon Château at La Quinta during an evacuation from Los Angeles due to the fires, and wow—what an incredible discovery! I wanted something near water, and this stunning property exceeded all expectations. The serene lakefront location, combined with the beauty and tranquility of the setting, turned a stressful time into such a happy and peaceful experience. I can’t wait to come back with my girlfriends for a weekend getaway—it’s the perfect spot for relaxation and connection. Château at La Quinta is a hidden gem, and I’m so grateful to have found it during such a challenging moment. Highly recommend!

Pretty lakeside location
Lovely setting on the water makes for great room views. We particularly loved the French music being played throughout the hotel the night we checked in. Glass of sparkling wine in a chilled flute at check-in was a nice touch. Pool/jacuzzi area is quite small, with seating for only 10 people total. Continental breakfast was underwhelming. Parking was easy and close to rooms. We enjoyed the outdoor fire tables in the evening, as it was a little chilly outside. Wish the bathroom had a tub. Facility could use some sprucing up. Very quiet hotel. Not great for kids.

Wonderful people and property
I’m currently sitting on the balcony of the room we checked into while I’m writing this review. The staff and property are amazing. We were greeted by John as we walked into the lobby. He was all smiles and had a wonderful demeanor. We had delicious appetizers and cocktails. It was our first time here and will definitely return. Thank you to everyone who works at the Château for making our stay wonderful. We appreciate you.

What a gem of a hotel for this price and especially, due to its location, serenity and silence. Great view to the lake and mountains while at the amazing hot tub. This hotel does needs to replace their room carpets, hardware and fixtures. The beds are also not very comfortable. There is no desk / chair setup so working in the room was not possible for me. Coffee was fantastic so that's a plus. Very friendly and hard working lady cleaning the rooms. Seems she was the only one doing the entire hotel. Great parking situation and proximity to the room was always a great incentive to booking. I will definitely come back.

This hotel was an absolute pleasure to stay at. We were greeted with champagne at check in and the staff was wonderful and welcoming. I wish we booked at least one more night because the bed was soooo comfortable. So much so we wanted to ask what brand it was. The view of the lake was so nice to wake up to in the morning. My only gripe would be that we could adjust the lighting in the balcony but, that really wasn’t a big deal. All in all I’d give this place a 10 out of 10. Side note: Make sure to book a first floor room if you need access to an elevator as there was no elevator.
