More pleasant than expected.

Conveniently located by a beautiful park; fairly price for the services provided. Staff were amazing, kind, and professional. Way classier than expected. When we walked in, my wife's first words were "This place seems fancy... how much did you pay?" I'm uncertain if I've stayed at any Hyatt before, but this one will leave a lasting impression.

Room was unsatisfactory. Nowhere to hang long coats or dresses. No full length mirror. One coffee cup no other cups or glasses. Bottle of water in room was $3.00 if you weren’t elite member. It’s a small bottle of water. No closet so ironing board leaned against pass-thru door to adjoining room. Large area in room where they could have had a nice chair. Room was just very disappointing.

Stayed on fri 6/12/24 for 4 nights. Hotel is right in the middle of the town close to the square which is very pretty this time of year. Everything is within walking distance so hotel is very conveniently situated which probably reflects the elevated costs of a room per night unfortunately. Morristown is a pretty town in my opinion. On arrival the lobby had a really nicely lit and decorated Christmas tree with sofas and a projector showing a fire place. It looks cozy. Bar is in the right corner as you walk into the lobby. Plenty of chill areas with seating etc and around the corner from the bar is an open plan cafe of sorts with lots of snacks and various options for food and drinks etc depending on the time of day/evening. Check in was quick, easy and the desk staff member was friendly. Lifts can be busy and you can wait considerable time sometimes for the lift to arrive. The room (king room with high floor) was clean tidy and had everything we needed for our stay including a sofa bed and large tv which allows connection via chromecast. We had an issue connecting our devices to this tv but after a call to the front desk we was given clear instructions on what to do and after a phone call the issue was resolved. Again the desk staff and helpline number people were fantastic. Air conditioning/heater was a little noisy especially when on while watching tv and sleeping with it. Windows a little draughty but not enough to affect our stay. Check out easy. Recommended.
