Cozy, Clean, Pet-Friendly Cottage - Newly Remodeled Bathroom! Walk to Town

Cozy and clean 2 bedroom cottage on Lake Street a few blocks from downtown Harbor Springs. Bathroom was fully renovated in spring 2023. It's a short walk to, downtown restaurants and shopping, and a quick drive to golf courses, Pond Hill Farm, the Tunnel of Trees, and ski areas. Our dog-friendly cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, 2 TVs, high-speed wifi, 2 queen beds, parking, and a large back yard with seating and a fire pit. The house is professionally cleaned between guests and includes fresh sheets, bath towels, and beach towels for your stay.

During the summer there is a window AC unit that keeps the whole house cool and comfortable. Our dog-friendly and kid-friendly house has all the amenities of home in a great location convenient to all that Northern Michigan has to offer.

Relax in the living room on a cozy couch and pair of comfy club chairs. The newly renovated (Spring 2023) bathroom has built-in shelving, a new shower and all new fixtures. There is a small breezeway next to the kitchen and adjacent laundry room with shelves/hooks for your winter or lake gear! Other things you'll find to make your stay easy and enjoyable: playing cards, puzzles, extra blankets and pillows, wine/bottle openers, paper towel, toilet paper, dish and hand soap, a portable fan in both bedrooms, and hangers.

The house is situated on a large lot with a big and mostly private yard that backs up to trees on two sides. You'll be just a few blocks from amazing views of Little Traverse Bay and Lake Michigan!

Delightful property within easy walking distance from downtown, Lake Michigan and parks. Maureen is a thoughtful and responsive host. Property is very clean, comfortable and pet friendly and supplied with pretty much everything you might need. The wine and tennis ball were appreciated by dog and owner alike! This adorable little cottage was exactly what we needed for our first "dog vacation" with our one-year-old Australian Shepherd, Orla. It was just a short 15-minute walk to Zoll St. dog beach (Orla's happy place!), and we made a regular habit of heading down to the lake and visiting the deer park each evening. The cottage itself was super cozy and had everything we could ask for. We loved having a full kitchen – we picked up frozen pot pies from the Good Hart General Store and were able to prepare them at home for a quiet night in. And the washer and dryer were a godsend for sandy paws and beach towels, and the pantry/laundry area kept all of Orla's toys and leashes organized. It's in the perfect location - close to Petoskey State Park and numerous nature preserves - great for hiking and exploring. Our stay was short, only four nights, but it was absolutely delightful and cozy. We can't wait to come back for another stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage in Harbor Springs! It's one of the most well-stocked rentals we've ever stayed in-- the kitchen has everything you need and there are even beach towels. It's very close to downtown Harbor Springs. The backyard is huge and we had a great time making a fire and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. Maureen is an excellent communicator and even took the trouble to mail us something we forgot. Would recommend!

Friends Trip
This was a one week trip with my Friend, starting in the UP and ending in the Harbor Springs/Petoskey area. This Rental in Harbor Springs was really nice. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Both beds were very comfortable, which is hard to find in a rental. We felt very comfortable and safe during our stay. The house is located in a very cute neighborhood. It was very quiet at night.

Love the Little Blue Cottage!
Perfect little cottage for our family of 4 and small dog. My boys spent the weekend at the Highlands and I hung out in the cottage doing homework (Wi-Fi is amazing!) and walking the neighborhood. They had everything we needed! We gave the boys the room with the TV so we could stay up later and watch our own shows. I would love to come back! Tiny house in great location
This cozy little house is on Lake Street very near the Elementary and High Schools. The kitchen is well appointed and the queen bed was very comfortable. You should be aware that there is no dishwasher but washing a few dishes was no problem for us!

Incredible Stay
We had the best time staying at Michele’s house in Harbor Springs. We brought our two dogs and the yard could not have been better for our situation. From start to finish, our check in, entire stay, and check out all were exactly what you hope for from a VRBO. Awesome communication, thoughtful gift basket left for our family (with treats for our dog - left my ball at home so thank you for saving the day). The house is comfortable and inviting, great location and as mentioned before - awesome back yard. We couldn’t stop saying how this feels like the authentic VRBO experience so many listings have moved away from. We really felt like Michele had invited us into her home and took care of us like you would a friend. I even left items behind and she went out of her way to make sure they were returned to me. I also had made a mistake when initially scheduling and Michele was wonderful to work with me to adjust. We felt very lucky to have found this home. We will absolutely be staying here again going forward and cannot wait to get back!
