"We always go to the Big Island and we always stay in Puako. We’ve rented several VRBO’s over the years, including an oceanfront home. Ohana Hale is our favorite of them all. I LOVED the backyard—very private, stunning sunrises, and lots of birds. Our older adult daughter liked the outdoor shower and tree swing. Our younger adult daughter liked access to good turtle watching and tide pooling just across the street. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and we appreciated the variety of spices and having plenty of storage containers for leftovers. The area is quiet at night, the beds are comfy, and we slept well. The house is extremely clean with no creepy crawlies. I found the owners to be friendly and responsive. Ohana Hale will see us again!"

"This home was perfect for our family vacation! The house was very nice new and clean, beds were comfortable, tons of space for my family of 6. We spent lots of time at the pool/patio just enjoying the lovely view of the ocean, watching the birds or the many stars. We explored the trails/nearby tide pools and saw sea turtles and whale spouts. Lots of activities to do close by and not too far for restaurants/shopping yet we still felt away from the crowds with peace and privacy. Management was excellent to work with and everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. We can’t wait to come back!"
