"I recently stayed at the Arecibo Inn and had a mixed experience, but overall, I’m giving it 5 stars because the value for the price is excellent. The service was truly a standout—staff members were courteous, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. Check-in was quick, and any concerns were addressed professionally and efficiently. That said, there are a few areas that could use improvement. The hallways had a lingering unpleasant smell, likely due to people smoking despite posted policies. Better vigilance and enforcement of the no-smoking rule would improve the environment significantly. The hallways were also quite noisy at times, especially during the night. Installing better soundproof doors could help minimize the disturbance for guests. Finally, the mattresses could use an upgrade, as mine felt worn and not very comfortable. Improving mattress quality would really elevate the overall guest experience. In spite of these issues, the overall value for what I paid was excellent. With a few improvements, this hotel could easily become a top choice in the area."

"We stayed here April 2025. 8 kids ranging from 3-16 & 6 adults. There was plenty of space for everyone! Beds are so comfortable, plenty of towels for pool & showers. All essentials you need in the kitchen, jacuzzi felt amazing, there’s a basketball court on the side attached to the house that we didn’t even know about but was great to have. Bakery up the street is AMAZING! Only about 8 min drive to Walmart. Host was amazing and answered txts within minutes! Highly recommend! We will be booking here again in the future as well! Can’t say enough good things!"
