Elevators not working half the time & they take forever & a day anyway. Waterpark is fun but staff are in considerate but for the price of an indoor waterpark Castaway Bay is the best deal in northern ohio.

Don't come because you wont want to leave :)
My kids and I had a blast. My son said..."Tell everyone not to come to Castaway Bay... Because they won't want to leave" LOL The waterpark was so much fun. We also loved the escape room and arcade. It was nice having a restaurant on site. We also had ice cream.

Only thing I didn’t like is that you check in at 4 and you might have to wait for the rooms and the pool close at 8. Pool should be open Atleast 9/9:30 outside of that very nice place

From the hour and thirty minute wait to check in and then room not being available to having our second room on the other side of the hotel. No convinces made. Kids wrist bands fell off reentered the waterpark fine and then told to go and get them replaced at main desk. Got all the way to our room for card to not work o ly option load all kids and back down to the main entrance we go. Either lower the nightly room rate or figure out a way to better serve your guests. This is the second time coming and there will not be a third.

Breakfast buffet was a continental breakfast buffet offered at most hotels for free. Nothing special and low quality. Recommend going to actual restaurant. Overpriced all around. Arcade dont even bother you wont win anything. Huge waste of money. Waterpark was great but very small. Only one big attraction and wave pool. Hot tub was great and huge! Waterpark food overpriced low quality. Rooms are adorable but cold in the winter. Whole place smells like a nursing home. Was nice to try but dont think we will be back.

It finally fell short of my expectations
Castaway is our place, has been for years. However, too much of a good thing comes to an end, and this was our time. The water in our room was lukewarm at best and the hot tub was down all weekend. The pizza was still bangin’ but the Starbucks was subpar and the desserts tasted old, and for the price per piece, it should be stellar. Quaker State was meh.. I had to send my salad back because the lettuce tasted unwashed.
