"If you are looking for quiet, this isn’t it. It never bothered us, but during baseball season, it’s loud on the street. We were there for a game, so we enjoyed the ambiance. The Bullpen, is literally right outside the hotel. Another great thing is, so is the Metro. So, it’s super easy to navigate downtown to the museums and come back to Navy Yard. The area is safe enough during the time we went (late April). We traveled with our 12 year old son, and never felt unsafe in the streets or on the Metro. They’ve done a great job keeping this area clean and safe. "
