The rooms are clean and cozy, Out side of the the sliding glass doors I like that they have a small patio with a semi private back yard to each of the lower units. The managers are very nice and accommodating.

Hasn’t been updated in a while but it’s still a very lovely place! Pretty clean, but we noticed some food stuck in the bathroom sink drain.

It's cheaper than most. you get what you pay for. Or less than you pay for, sometimes. I was in 4 different rooms over the last couple weeks and all of them had a broken lock, deadbolt or chain. And that's not the only problem. Just very weird. They were bent and twisted as if they'd been kicked in. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful, although she had a very annoying barking little dog..(Annoying because of shrill barking often) also the older gentleman was the older man that cleans the rooms was very nice. Although I never got my room cleaned or stocked. Probably not his fault. the man that's usually at the front desk (owner?) was down right rude during every contact I've had with him. Condescending and not helpful at all Not worth going into detail, but it's not a good place to stay if you can help it If I hadn't been broke I wouldnt have stayed there and I hope I don't have to again. Btw you save quite a bit reserving online vs paying at sight.

My sister lives at the nearby John Wayne marina and I stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting her. The hotel is old, but the owners keep it cleaned and my room quiet and the bed comfortable. Be sure to bring your own toiletries; the items they provide aren’t very good.
