First time staying here - 3 grandchildren and they had a blast. Transportation between activities was so convenient and staff was super friendly and welcoming. Will return!

We stayed at the Lodge for a cheerleading competition. It was super convenient since it's connected to the convention center. However, it took over an hour standing in line to get checked in. The rooms were dated but large. The people at the front desk were extremely nice. I'd stay here again but would be hesitant somewhat simply because of the wait to check in. Also, it would appear that they sold my email because since my stay there, I'm getting TONS of Sevierville spam from various businesses.

They had a car show that weekend they didn’t inform me as a guess about. It was a complete surprise. Parking was not for the guess at hotel it was for the show. As a guest we were treated pretty crappy and since the car show was more important we were completely discarded. It took us 1 hour and 30 minutes to leave the hotel to go to the gas station to get some snacks because of the traffic for the car show. It was so terrible I just couldn’t believe it.

Stone hill needs more of an arcade/ something else to do so not everyone is at the main building. Ice cream or milkshake shop at stone hill also would be nice, faster and easier check in.

Cannot recommend. Save your money.
Stone Hill Lodge is not recommended for a family expecting basic service and cleanliness. We planned a two night stay over New Year’s for my husband and 10 year-old son. We have been to the resort before years back, but stayed at the main hotel. No rooms were available there, but my son had been asking to go back and we don’t have much time for getting away. I knew it would be a bit of a hassle to have to ride the shuttle to the waterpark this time of year, but decided to make it work so we could go. Do not expect to check in early (even if you see people checking in early). Do not expect to find a luggage cart. There are not many. The ones that do exist will be left for you to find somewhere in the hotel (guests were too lazy to take them back and no employees came looking for them). The room is very dated. There is old carpet everywhere, so if you have allergies you should know this. It holds all the smells and there are large stains in the halls that should be attended to. The bathroom was so small you cannot close the door without standing in the corner to make room for the door. The sink is outside the shower/toilet. The door barely clears the toilet. If you are bathing small kids or need privacy to get dressed, it’s going to be uncomfortable. The housekeeping staff did the best they could, but the smell was bad. We had the balcony, so we opened the door at times. You could smell food, marijuana smoke, and many other unpleasant things. The waterpark is great

Property needed maintenance, carpet in halls coming up you could easily trip on and just needed some overall updating. At check in was told only needed wristbands for water park and all purchases could be made on wristbands, never mentioned needing ID for the bar. At the water park bar the bartender refused to accept my scanned copy of my ID and just kept ignoring me when I kept asking to speak to a manager. The 80 year old man next to me couldn’t get a drink because he didn’t have his ID. To get my ID I would have had to get my child, ride the shuttle back to the Stone Hill, go to my room get my ID just to get back on the shuttle to go back. For the price, we were not impressed at all. The water park was nice and lots to do for the kids.

Hotel was nasty and small. There was stuff spilled everywhere on the floors in the hallways. Small rooms and uncomfortable beds and the whole building smells bad. Bathrooms not cleaned and no snacks or drinks near the rooms. Way to far to walk. House keeping just comes in the room while your sleeping while without even knocking

Everything was great except a few small things. The prices for food was higher than we expected, could be bc it’s a “resort” could be different state taxes. And house keeping doesn’t come unless you requested it, which actually is great, except when you need clean wash rags and towels. We request towels the day before we needed them, didn’t not receive them, we had to call the night we needed them and still took more time than expected. Over all rating though is still excellent. Nothing in life can be perfect.

Christmas Vacation
We came for Christmas week. The new expansion at the waterpark is great and the water was not freezing cold. The rooms are showing their age, and we smelled weed in the hallways at all times, but all the entertainment aspects of the hotel are great. When we needed extra towels they quickly brought them to us. The food and drink prices are outrageously priced so I'd avoid eating here.
