2nd time staying in this hotel Staff are always very friendly. Breakfast is very good, has a lot of options. The rooms are always clean and quiet. Good value for money and location. Short walk to main shopping area and train station etc Would definitely go back

Had stayed at Birger Jarl in 2013. Was happy to have returned. Hotel staff was great and enjoyable and quite delicious breakfast buffet just like the previous stay. Comfortable room and great location, looking forward to the next visit

Nice location & convenient for our needs! Hotel was accommodating for late check-out. Wish there was a spa/sauna on the property. The room was fine, but I did feel it was small and dark.
