This is a wonderful historic Inn. We stayed in the original building which is part of the larger complex. When you check in you step back in time. The staff are wonderful, the restaurants are busy, but well worth the visit. Not too expensive either! Glad we stayed for the two nights.

Great historic hotel with pleasant staff.
Overall another great stay with only one hiccup at start. We arrived at 320p to check in only to be told that our room was not yet ready. They did have one other similar room available but that would have put us in the midst of a wedding party for the following evening. We opted to stay in the room we were assigned. We were finally able to check in until close to 5:00 p.m. which threw off our plans but the two women at the front desk were extremely pleasant and courteous and very helpful through the situation. Overall it was a nice stay. The rooms are in great shape for being a historic building. They do need to upgrade the shower heads. Overall I would recommend staying here especially if you'd like a touch of the historic.

One of my personal favorites
This was my second time staying here, this is my go-to place now in central Massachusetts. Staff is excellent, the grounds are clean and safe, the parking is easy and the restaurant and bake shop being on site are extremely inconvenient.

Large comfortable room, high value for amazing price! As it is a historic property, the rooms are also historic feeling and very cute. Loved the Bake Shoppe and Ebenezer’s tavern.Had a great stay and will certainly be back next time we are in the area!

Comfortable and clean and nice staff. Room looks a bit worn with very used furniture. TV very outdated. $25 fee for pup much less than most places but it wasn’t mentioned till I checked in. Need to sand or salt walkways more as it was a bit icy out on walkways and some areas on driveways.

Festive feeling on arrival with several groups enjoying themselves in the restaurant and pub. Staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciate the rate and the reasonable accommodations. A few nits to pick: the bed had the thinnest of blankets which at 10 degrees outside was not cozy at all. Couldn't get the room warm enough after 11pm. Went for a breakfast pastry and coffee, but the seating was removed, and if I brought the coffee back to my room, it would have gone totally cold. When I did get back, my key didn't work and I had to get another one. I'd come back, but in warmer weather!
