Book a hotel near University of Hawaii at Hilo Botanical Gardens, Hilo

"We stayed for 4 days. Had a great time. The room had an excellent view of Hilo Bay and we spent a lot of time on the balcony. Staff were great. Room was clean. The lobby had a great vibe in the evening and the free drink coupons offered to guests was a great perk. The hotel is under some renovation but that didn’t impact our enjoyment. "

"It was a great place to stay while vacationing for the first time in Hawaii. Although we were only really there to sleep, it was comfortable and quiet for relaxing. Plenty of space and clean. I would definitely stay there again if and when I come back to Hawaii. "

"We opted to stay in Hilo rather than the other side of the island where there are many resorts and more traffic. We had breakfast at the VRBO and then did fun day trips all over the island. The VRBO was clean, quiet and comfortable. We appreciated the reserved parking spot and option to do laundry. Shopping at Safeway and Walmart was convenient. We also really enjoyed the Hilo farmer's market."
