This place was disgusting. When we walked in we were immediately assaulted with a horrible smell that unfortunately was the restaurant. Everything is dirty and in complete disrepair. Our toilet seat came completely off the toilet. The worst part was that we had BED BUGS in our room #246. Based on previous reviews they knew they were in there already! We ended up leaving after only 30 minutes in the place. We will NEVER stay here again!

Worst hotel experience ever!!!
Our stay at the Akron Radisson was an absolute disaster. Traveling with young children is hard enough, but this hotel made it nearly impossible. From start to finish, the experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and downright unsafe. Upon arrival, we were given a room key and expected to settle in quickly. Instead, we found the room full of maintenance equipment—ladders, paint cans, and exposed wiring. This wasn’t just inconvenient; it was a safety hazard for my children. When I went to the front desk, they offered only a halfhearted apology and gave us a key to another room. I assumed the second room would be an improvement. I was wrong. The moment we opened the door, we were hit with the overwhelming smell of marijuana. To my horror, there was someone inside smoking pot, completely unfazed by our arrival. My young children were standing right there, witnessing this absurd scene. Back at the front desk, the staff mumbled something about “mix-ups” and suggested we wait while they sorted it out. By then, I’d had enough. We gathered our things and left, even though it was late, and my kids were exhausted. This hotel’s complete lack of safety, organization, and professionalism is shocking. Assigning us to a room filled with hazardous equipment was bad enough, but the second incident was beyond belief. How does a hotel fail this badly at basic guest care? Families should avoid this hotel at all costs. It’s not just about bad service; it’s about safety and accountability.

It was good. Except 4th floor smelled like ass and we were missing a couple light bulbs. Nothing major. We'll go back. (Jus not on the 4th floor) We love the balcony off all of the rooms!

The hotel is outdated and old… needs a whole remodel of the rooms 1980s feel and vibe. Very dirty unfortunately and was only there (1) night for a quick stop so I made due. The lobby and pool looked nice, but of course the hot tub was out. My whole stay I was not happy and would love for this to be taken serious if even refunded at that rate.

Good experience.
This place was actually great for us. Our room was huge, clean sheets, polite and helpful staff, the water temp was incredibly hot which was perfect. The only things that bothered us was the hot tub was out or service and the vending machines didn’t work when we tried them. It was still overall a great place for us.
