The kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook your heart out (There's even a crock pot for slow cooking) or order out. Ski Mountain Escape is a completely renovated addition to Angel Fire's resort area. Located in the Angel Fire Chalets, just three minutes down the hill from the Chile Express, El Jefe restaurant and the coffee bar at the resort, three minutes up the hill from pizza and fine restaurants, and less than a mile from "town," this large (720sf) "mountain casual" contemporary one bedroom, one bath, condo features all the comforts you're looking for.

As you enter, a spacious, open concept, 10' ceiling living/dining/kitchen welcomes you. Tastefully decorated with unique artwork, a spectacular gas log fireplace, and new flooring, the spacious room features a comfortable sleeper couch, DVD player and WiFi-connected TV, a dining room that seats six with room to move around, and large galley kitchen with granite breakfast bar and new cabinetry throughout! Free WiFi is yours for the duration of your visit.

The well-equipped, well-lighted, and newly renovated kitchen is outfitted for someone who likes to cook, and includes ample cookware, crockpot, smoothie-maker, new refrigerator with ice-maker, and a new quiet dishwasher along with all the other small appliances you expect. You can seat four at the counter-height bar, whether you're cooking or ordering in, and when combined with the adjoining dining room, it makes it perfect for entertaining family or friends.

In the bright, cheerful, renovated bathroom -- including this year's new walk in shower -- you'll find more than ample storage, great lighting, and space to move around. There's a hair-dryer for your convenience, and we keep a stock of Q-tips and cotton balls for your use. Because it's on a separate heating zone, you can warm the bathroom up in the morning while your coffee is brewing, before you get into the shower.

The bedroom features a high-quality queen mattress with memory foam topper and heated mattress pad, choice of Tempurpedic memory foam or soft cotton fill pillows, large master closet, and six-drawer dresser. Each side of the bed has a night stand with storage, and a clock, and a nightlight/reading lamp on the headboard. The luxurious new carpeting will assure that your feet won't get cold, and the separate heating zone will allow you to keep the temperature just right, no matter what the rest of the house is set at.

In short, Ski Mountain Escape is THE place you want to be, whether for skiing, biking on the spectacular track, or just enjoying life in the southern Rockies. Angel Fire features championship golf and tennis, fishing, paddle boarding, and all sorts of outdoor activities. In the summer, there are weekly concerts at the park, and a wonderful farmers' market. We're 45 minutes from Taos and Red River, an hour from Cimmaron and Questa, and about 2-1/2 hours from Santa Fe.
