We were very disappointed by our stay at Tru. We switched rooms twice due to the rooms not being cleaned by house keeping. The first room had makeup on the sheets and hair in the bed. The second room was just as bad. There was a pill on the floor in the bathroom, hair on the toilet seat, and the sheets were filthy. Not due to stains, they were not cleaned at all. See attached. The woman at the front desk for the night shift was understanding, she showed us the room prior to moving us. Her manager requested photos but has not reached out regarding the matter. We’ve stayed at Tru while on vacation in Tennessee and it was an absolute wonderful experience. It was disappointing to see that the one in Auburn wasn’t kept to the same standard.

The hotel was very clean, the check-in was very quick, and the staff was very polite. My only complaint was the lack of breakfast items. It was a bit limited and almost everything was finished. We had an early breakfast at 7AM, and both the coffee, eggs, and sausages were all finished. Also, the rooms felt very empty, and there was not much furniture to put my bags. Aside from these minor things, which are personal preferences, it was a great stay and a great option for anyone visiting the area as it is very near the city center, university, and many restaurants!
