We booked Guesthouse B for a two-night stay, but unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience to say the least. The heater in the king-size bedroom was malfunctioning, turning the room into an unbearable sauna. There was no way to adjust or shut it off, and the double windows were locked, preventing any fresh air from cooling the room. For safety reasons, I could only crack the door open intermittently, but that wasn’t a viable solution overnight. The extreme heat made the room dangerously uncomfortable, and I ended up moving to a small room with a pull-out couch, which was essentially on the floor. At 6 feet tall, sleeping there was incredibly uncomfortable, but at least the window in that room could be opened slightly. Adding to the discomfort, the neighbors were partying loudly past 11p.m., making it impossible to sleep. I eventually had to go and ask them to quiet down…Between the heat and the noise, we did not got any sleep. Ultimately, we decided to check out a day early due to the issues with the king-size bedroom heat. Thankfully, we were able to book a room at the Hampton Inn in nearby Bennington, which was a much better experience, and we plan to stay there for our next week long trip. Although the property manager tried to assist via text and ultimately refunded one night, I was hoping for a full refund for both nights since I basically slept on the floor the one night and not king size bed I paid for.

This was a very nicely appointed and updated room with all of the modern amenities, including Wi-Fi and a large flatscreen smart TV, which was great! It was beautiful all around with nice views out our back window, which was really nice to see. We would definitely stay here again.

There are 3 types of accommodations on site. The Studios, and then there are two houses. There is a firepit on site and a pool. The property is very clean. The studio walls are thin, so if you check in, you can request a studio without anyone directly next door. The continental breakfast is cereal, coffee and yogurt. The property is at the foothills of the mountains, beautiful views.

Not worth what they charge
We drove past it initially because there was no sign that we could see in the dark, when we arrived. The room is shown with a chair, however, there wasnt one. The toilet had to be flushed several times just to get paper to go down and the bathroom had no fan. Also, the wall in the bathroom had an unfinished outlet, which we were afraid to use because we weren't sure if it was okay to use, without getting electrocuted. Only one mirror in the room, so only one person could get ready at a time. The breakfast selection was minimal and there was no real cream for coffee. Just Coffee-Mate warm non-dairy "creamers". There was a guy sitting at a table in the lobby, that we assumed worked there. He didnt say and had all he could do to just say hello to the three of us, let alone ask if we "enjoyed our stay or was everything alright". For the amount they charge for a night, im sure there are better accommodations in the same area.
