Overlook the surf and sand from this ninth-floor, one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath oceanfront penthouse condo! Just steps to Sea Colony's half-mile of private beach and oceanfront pools, this updated single-level seaside getaway is home to a living and dining area (with cathedral ceiling), updated well-equipped kitchen, full hallway bathroom, and bedroom (with a half bathroom of its own). Bordering the southern perimeter of Bethany Beach, a short walk to town saves money on parking fees or hunting for a spot in peak season. At the condo, our reserved parking spot and penthouse unit are just a few steps from the elevator. Relax with impressive sunrises from the balconies' ideal east- southeast exposure or check out the breathtaking sunsets from our entrance towards the town of Bethany Beach and beyond. At certain times of the day, you can see schools of dolphins swimming close to the shoreline. Central air conditioning, washer, dryer, and more. Accessible without stairs. Two TVs (55' LG flatscreen TV with Roku Smart TV streaming service and a 32-inch flatscreen TV in the main bedroom), DVD, Blu-ray, and WiFi. Guests using the sofabed in the living area will be delighted by the addition of room darkening curtains for a better nap time.
Guests of Sea Colony can enjoy access to a private guarded beach, ten outdoor pools, two indoor pools, a championship tennis center, a fitness center, basketball court, boardwalk, tax-free shopping, amusement parks, water parks, mini-golf, two public/private golf courses nearby, a movie theater, and fun activities like fishing, kayaking, and surfing.
Recent updates (Spring 2022): A plasma purification was added to the new HVAC system for improved air filtration and the water heater was replaced.
Recent upgrades (2018): Remodeled kitchen with updated appliances, granite countertops, some new furnishings, Cortec flooring, and updated paint colors in the hallway, dining area, living area, and kitchen.
Additional updates (2017): New bathrooms and keyless entry front door.

Balcony chairs have been updated as of the 2021 season.
Please note that the fireplace is an electric simulated fireplace and has a heating element for cold nights.
*Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.
**Sea Colony will have ongoing construction from September through May. There will be construction noise that may be heard in the surrounding homes. Please be aware that this may be loud at times.
The Sea Colony Recreational Association requires a per person resort fee for guests ages four years and older. This fee varies by time of year and is mandatory.

Sea Colony Parking Passes
Sea Colony parking passes are issued based on the number of guest badges purchased per unit. Each unit is allowed a maximum of 2 parking passes per rental period.
1-2 Badges = 1 Parking Pass
3+ Badges = 2 Parking Passes
Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 9.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
