"Vanilla Hills was a beautifully designed and executed resort. Every detail was carefully thought through and we were well taken care of for every part of our stay. Claudia, Karina and the entire staff were so attentive and kind. The food and drinks were incredible, and we loved getting to watch all the wildlife visiting to munch on fruit provided by the groundskeepers. Vanilla Hills coordinated all of our transport and excursions to be provided by Belize Caving Expeditions, and everything was top quality and so much fun. Thank you Vanilla Hills team! "

"We had such a lovely stay at the treehouse. My cousin and I fell in love with the home the second we walked in the door. Tito met us there and gave us the lay of the land and many tips to get around. Catherine was so attentive and the connections to the trips and guides were spot on. We went on the Pine Ridge tour and did the ATM cave and were blown away by the beauty of the land and the knowledge of our guides. The home and activities combined made this a trip of a lifetime! I would highly recommend staying in this special place. Just amazing!"

"We absolutely LOVED our stay here! It was so calm and peaceful. The staff are wonderful and will go out of their way to help you with anything you need. It's definitely more at the 'rustic' end of the scale but we really enjoyed that aspect. The river is wonderful to jump in and cool off and Mario helped us with a river tubing trip that ended right at the hotel's desk. Camille who cooked the food was so wonderful and kind and we really loved the delicious local dishes she made for us. While staying there we saw agoutis, howler monkeys, hummingbirds, a toucan and a jaguarundi right on the property. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Sarinam cabin very much. The house had everything we needed and communication with the property manager (Kate from Ananda Studio next door) was great! The property is adjacent to the Mopan River, so we borrowed the inner tubes to float down stream one afternoon, fun! You can launch in your inner tubes at Mahogany Hall boutique resort just a few minutes walk down the road (great cocktails at Mahogany’s bar too!). A howler money family visited the tree canopy overhead one morning, so fun to hear and see! Downtown San Ignacio is a 10min, easy drive from the house."

"Cohune Palms is just what we were hoping for. The property is really lovingly maintained. The staff are really warm and accommodating- Ms. Nellie's cooking was just perfect after long days of tours! The cabins are not posh but not supposed to be- and it was HOT in there, we ended up asking for additional fans in the evening- but they were clean, and had everything we needed. We specifically chose this location because we weren't planning on exploring town or being "close' to other food/activities, we just wanted peace along the river and planned long tours during the day. It's not really easily accessible to town unless you rent a car. We would stay here again happily, though likely in a cooler time of year!"
