We’ve stayed at The Anchorage Inn a few times now (child in nearby college). We find it safe which is most important. Could use an update for sure!! Very dated looking inside & out Would love to see more of a real breakfast rather than packaged processed food. Staff are always friendly and plenty of parking Location is very convenient; mall across the street and numerous dining options nearby. Few minutes drive to college campus and downtown Burlington

Very basic hotel that needs some renovation. But the staff is very nice and the hotel is close to a shopping mall and the highway. Depending on the season, the price gets too high for what you get.

Bed was terribly uncomfortable, sheets were shabby & worn, bathroom door did not close, my husband woke up with insect bites all over his back & the price was overly high for the poor quality of the property.

Checked out 10 minutes after checking in. Cops were circling the lot, the room smelled funny, and the toliet did not flush well. Plus the location was further from our destination that we realized.

Avoid at all costs!
The Anchorage is without a doubt the worst place that I’ve ever stayed. The room was filthy, smelled horrible, the furniture was dirty, outdated, beat up and mismatched. The carpet was stained, worn, and filthy. The bathroom had “mysterious stains” on the walls. One of the towels had some sort of makeup stain on it. The Anchorage is (thankfully) located across from a Target store where I went and bought bleach wipes,& shower shoes as I didn’t want my bare feet touching the floor.I am very glad that I was traveling solo without my family. Spend the extra money and stay at a place that is clean.

The owner of the hotel need to close it for renovation. It’s a very good hotel well situated but if they keep it in it poor conditions, it should closed in the next 5 years.

It was an old hotel, but it was clean. No elevator though but there is easy access from the back of the hotel. Friendly front desk.

For the money spent; the hotel is very dated and room spelled when we opened door. The bathroom was from 1960s. No decoration on walls. Screen was bent in one window and non existent in other so couldn’t vent room. I feel like I was renting a motel for a one night hook up. Oh and two large towels only ONE face cloth and ONE hand towel.
