Hello. I've stayed at this location before and the service was excellent. This time was just ok. I entered the property and management along with a front desk attendant did not acknowledge me and my mom in line. They looked and continued removing Halloween decor. Small skeletons which where off to the side might i add. We finally got checked in. The second attendant who was with a previous customer did acknowledge my mom to inquire if she had a seperate reservation once he was free. Customer service is everything. I called for a remote to the Tv as there was not one in the room. I was asked "o is there not one in the room." I had a do not disturb sign on my door because i had to step out. Someone entered the room and dropped it off. There was hair on my toilet and on the dresser area. This will probably be the last time I stay at this hotel.

I absolutely adore The Sandman Signature Hotel, am a loyal regular, and always have an amazing stay. However, this time around it wasn’t the normal outstanding stay that I’m used to for a few reasons. 1. The room that I always book specifically because it is a bit larger and has a couch and table did not have a table this time, and instead had 2 foot ottomans which was annoying because again, the table is more useful. 2. The bathroom was only made ready with one small face/body towel upon arrival, and I had to request additional towels. I know this seems like a picky point, however, as someone who has worked in the hospitality industry previously I know that rooms are to be made ready with at least 2-4 small towels in anticipation of guest arrival, and 4 if there’s more than one guest and it’s beyond just a one night stay. In this case my room was booked for 2 guests for 2 nights. 3. The normal AC unit in that room didn’t work and had a piece of paper in it, so I had to constantly walk across the room to the old unit which to change it instead of being able to use the one near the bed through the night. 4. This I’ve noticed more frequently over the course of the last 3 or 4 stays. The toilets are habitually broken lately. The handles are loose or the seats are loose or it takes several flushes. 5. The couches are starting to be more and more dirty in the rooms. And I would HIGHLY suggest a more regular cleaning in them.

For a hotel it was very quiet. The rooms were comfortable, bathroom was very nice with lots of surface space for me (a makeup lover with many products.) The bed was soft and roomy, and I really enjoyed how soft the sheets were. The top sheets were quite thin though, not enough “blanket” to make me feel warm. However, housekeeping does an amazing job, the rooms are very clean and smell amazing. Bathrooms you can tell are very spotless. We left during the day and put out the sign on the door asking to refresh our room, when we came back from a long day we were relieved to see the bed had new sheets neatly made, bathroom sparkling with fresh towels, emptied trash, and restocked amenities. Calling down to the front desk was somewhat of an issue though, as some times it felt like I wasn’t being “listened” to and things weren’t always followed through. After the initial night I urgently needed more towels, which I attempted to call up to the room, but they never came. The man at the front desk that I spoke with seemed slightly annoyed with that request, and just seemed like he was putting up with me and my questions. Something I really enjoyed about this hotel is the location. It’s beautiful and pleasing to the eye, and has some great restaurants that are either part of the hotel or nearby. The location also has various businesses around that you can just walk to directly from the hotel and get what you need. I would come here again and love every minute of it.
